About Christine

As a lifelong learner and seeker of light, C.W. Lockhart (Christine) explores her world through writing, pottery, pilgrimage-making, and episodic wandering. She holds a PhD in Learning Management, an MFA in Creative Writing, and an MA in Organizational Leadership. Lockhart teaches Writing, English, Art History, Communications, and Business courses for the University of Maryland Global Campus. Her available books include Blanket of Stars: Thru-Hiking the Camino de Santiago, Walking with Buddha: Pilgrimage on the Shikoku 88-Temple Trail, and Complex PTSD: 10 Holistic Steps to Tame Triggers, Outshine Anxiety, Transcend Trauma, and Live Your Best Life. Future pilgrimage books include Walking Back in Love: Pilgrimage on the Via Francigena, Camino 101: The Beginner’s Guide to Pilgrimage, and 10 Years a Pilgrim: A Decade of Growth & Healing. Christine, a roaming expat, makes her home along the coast of Washington State, as well as in Bavarian Germany, Sunny Portugal & the endless Camino ways of Spain.
